Kerala Floods
The Karnataka state government has appointed housing department secretary Anbu Kumar from Madikeri, ADGP Bhaskar Rao from Kushalnagar and Maria Christu Raja, IFS from Virajpet, to monitor relief measures. These officers are camping in these areas and will look after relief measures in the relief centers. The district administration declared holidays for all schools and colleges on 20 and 21.August.
